"The more effort, the more luck" is not necessarily just chicken soup. Naval, the founder of AngelList, believes that luck can be categorized into four types:
- Destiny luck, which is unpredictable and uncontrollable.
- Luck brought by hard work, where every attempt in entrepreneurship, content creation, community building, etc. can bring luck.
- Luck brought by preparation, by focusing on a specific field and becoming the first to take advantage of emerging opportunities.
- Luck brought by personality, where your reputation and charisma can bring you more opportunities.
